Graduate Management Admission Test

Graduate Management Admission Test, perhaps better known by its initialism GMAT, is a standardized test for determing aptitude in business management studies. Most MBA schools used the GMAT score as a criterion for admission.

It is an "aptitude test" (as opposed to an "achievement test"). It currently consists of a written section, and multiple choice sections on mathematical, analytical skills and reading comprehension.

It is typically pronounced "Gee-mat".
