Glen

Glen is a placename in more than one country.

It is of Gaelic origin and normally means "valley", as in Great Glen[?], Glencoe, Glen Tanar[?] etc. in Scotland, Glendalough in the republic of Ireland, or Yarra Glen[?] in Australia.

It is also the name of a river in England: see River Glen
In Norse mythology, Glen was the husband of Sol.

This is a disambiguation page; that is, one which just points to other pages which otherwise might have had the same name.
