Glamis Castle

Glamis Castle is situated beside the village of Glamis --pronounced Glamz -- in the county of Angus, Scotland. It is the home of the Earl and the Countess of Strathmore[?] who have handed it over to the National Trust for Scotland. As a result it is open to the public, with the exception of a private wing used by the family.

Childhood home of Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon.
