Gish is The Smashing Pumpkins' debut release. The album is named after silent movie actress Lillian Gish

Recorded in December 1990 to March 1991 and released on May 28, 1991.

"I Am One", "Rhinoceros", "Bury Me", and "Daydream" appear on the demos from 1989 and some on a complation of Early 1989 Demos.
