"Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" is perhaps the most popular song by 1980's icon and singer Cyndi Lauper. A feminist anthem proclaiming the right of young women to live a life not chained by antiquated tradition and notions, it was a massive hit for Lauper and essentially propelled her to stardom.
