Giraffe unicycle

Giraffe unicycles are chain driven things, usually, the exceptions being the very tall unicycles which have 'fixed' cranks instead of chains because once the chain is beyond a certain length an amount of slack (in the chain) is unavoidable causeing slippage and loss of control, which can be serious on a very tall unicyle.

You can create a giraffe unicyle from a normal bicycle by taking the front wheel and handlebars off and sitting on the bit of the frame that the handlebar stem usually fits into. This should only really work with a fixed wheel bicycle.
