River Gipping

The River Gipping is the source river for the River Orwell in the county of Suffolk in East Anglia, England. It is an improved 15 mile long river navigation with 15 locks between Ipswich and Stowmarket[?]. The navigation was established by two Acts of Parliament in 1790 and 1793.
