GIUK

GIUK stands for Greenland, Iceland and the UK. Naval Warfare wise it is an imaginary line across these countries , with sonar buoys and an important airbase in Iceland whose mission was to track and eventually prevent the Soviet Naval fleet from entering the Atlantic undetected.
