The Deutsche Technik Museum Berlin ("German Museum of Technology") was recently founded at the site of the ruins of the famous Anhalter Bahnhof train station in the center of Berlin.
The museum houses many different types of technical equipment, from the steam engine to railroad trains, and its motto is "anything on wheels".
On May 15, 2002, a special exhibition opened featuring the inventions of computer pioneer Konrad Zuse.
