Geranium

Description
Geranium is a genus of perennials belonging to the family Geraniaceae and the order geranials[?]. It is also used informally for plants of the Pelargonium[?] genus, another genus of the Geraniaceae family. Plants of both genera are grown for their attractive flowers and as ground cover.
Common name
Cranesbill because of the appearance of its seed-heads.
Habitat
will grow in any soil as long as it is not waterlogged.
Propagation
semi-ripe cuttings in summer, by seed or by division in autumn or spring.
