Geraldine A. Ferraro

Geraldine A. Ferraro, born 1935 in Newburgh, New York[?], was the first female candidate for Vice President of the United States of America from a major political party. Together with democratic presidential candidate Walter F. Mondale she lost against Ronald Reagan and George H. W. Bush in the 1984 elections.
