Georg Steller

Georg Steller was an 18th century naturalist, who travelled aboard the expedition of Vitus Bering.

Steller was responsible for naming much eastern Pacific flora and fauna, including the Steller (or Northern) Sea Lion, Steller's Sea Cow, and Steller's Jay.
