George Plimpton

George Plimpton is an American actor and journalist born in 1927. He is famous for competing in real sporting events, such as baseball's All-Star game, and a boxing match against Sugar Ray Robinson, while on assignment for Sports Illustrated. Plimpton has appeared in a number of feature films, as extras and cameos.

He was also reporting on the scene of the Robert Kennedy assassination.
