George Pickett

George Edward Pickett (January 25, 1825 - July 30, 1876) was a major-general in the army of the Confederate States of America during the American Civil War. He led a gallant but disastrous charge against Union lines in the Battle of Gettysburg.

He was born in Richmond, Virginia and died in Norfolk, Virginia.
