Genetic counseling

Genetic counseling is a form of genetic analysis[?] involving the testing of the genomes of two individuals for genetic diseases or weaknesses. The chance of such weaknesses being passed on to offspring of the individuals concerned is then calculated so that they can make an informed decision on the matter.
