Gekko gekko

Gekko gekko is the gecko for which geckos were named. It's mating call is a loud gek-gek-gek-gekkkk!

The Tokay is not native, but has naturalized in southern Florida. People would buy them and set them free in their houses with the belief that they would eat the cockroaches which are too common there. Unfortunately, there were more roaches outside, and the geckos moved out.

This is almost just a placeholder. PLEASE, if you know anything about the topic, update it.
