Gay Byrne

Gay Byrne is a famous Irish broadcaster, most notably for The Late Late Show, which is allegedly the world's longest running television chat show. He retired from the show a couple of years ago, handing the reins to arch rival Pat Kenny. Bono gifted a Harley Davidson motorcycle to Byrne on his last night hosting the Late Late Show. The bike was later auctioned for charity.

Byrne can still be seen around the Howth area of Dublin, occasionally returning to TV for once-off specials.
