Gavere

Gavere is a municipality located in the Belgian province of East Flanders. The municipality comprises the towns of Asper[?], Baaigem[?], Dikkelvenne[?], Gavere proper, Semmerzake[?] and Vurste[?]. On January 1st, 2000 Gavere had a total population of 11,847 (5,857 males and 5,990 females). The total area is 32.23 km² which gives a population density of 367.58 inhabitants per km².
