Gaur (Bos gaurus) is a large, dark-coated wild ox of hilly areas of southeast Asia that is also called seladang.

An East Indian species of wild cattle (Bibos gauris), of large size and an untamable disposition. Spelt also gour.

A wild ox of mountainous areas of eastern India.
