Garage Days Re-Revisited

Garage Days Re-Revisited was released October 1987. It was the first recording Metallica made with Jason Newsted playing bass. An EP of covers, the band printed the dollar price on the cover to ensure that fans weren't over charged for it, and omitted "The Wait" from the British version to make sure it could be sold at a lower price.

Though many fans refer to this EP as Garage Days Revisited, that term was used to refer to the b side of the "Creeping Death" single - see Ride The Lightning.

The songs on this EP were later collected, along with other covers the band had recorded over the years, on the album Garage Inc.

Track listing

  1. "Helpless" (Diamond Head)
  2. "The Small Hours" (Holocaust[?])
  3. "The Wait" (Killing Joke[?])
  4. "Crash Course In Brain Surgery" (Budgie)
  5. "Last Caress / Green Hell" (The Misfits)
