Redirected from Fukuoka, Japan

Fukuoka (福岡) is both a city and a prefecture at the northern tip of Kyushu, Japan, facing Honshu across Kanmon Strait. The prefecture contains both Fukuoka city and Kitakyushu[?], the two largest cities in Kyushu. (see Fukuoka prefecture)

Masanobu Fukuoka, author of 'The One straw Revolution', is the pioneer of 'No Till' grain growing (see also permaculture)
Fukuoka[?] is also a town[?] in Toyama, Japan.
