Freidorf

Freidorf (German for "Free village") is a suburb of the Romanian city of Timisoara. The famous swimmer Johnny Weissmuller was born there. He used to swim at the Bega River[?], which crosses Timisoara. Johhny Weissmuller later became famous for playing the role of Tarzan. Freidorf maintains a beautiful architecture, old German homes, and lots of green spaces.
