Frederick V, Elector Palatine

Frederick V or Friedrich V von der Pfalz (August 16, 1596 -November 29, 1632), also known as Frederick V, Elector Palatine was elector palatine of the Rhine Palatinate and briefly titled King of Bohemia. He married Elizabeth Stuart, the daughter of King James I of England. The negotiations for this wedding were conducted in Royston, Hertfordshire. He was son of the Frederick IV, Elector Palatine[?]. After his defeat Battle of White Mountain he lived in exile with his family in The Hague.
