Franco Baresi

Franco Baresi (born in May of 1960) was the outstanding central defender of the Italian national football team in two World Cups (1990, 1994), in which he scored a total of ten goals. Despite his modest physical appearance, he became a famous football player by his extraordinary abilities to read the game and control the pace of the play. He is also one of the few players who has spent his entire career at one club (AC Milan).
