Ford Taunus

Ford Taunus was a Ford made in Germany. From 1952 to 1968 all the German Fords were called Taunus using the model names 12M, 15M, 17M, 20M, and 26M. The "M" is said to be for "Masterpiece".

In 1970 a new Taunus called Taunus TC was introduced. It was very similar to Ford Cortina and some components were identical.

In 1982 production of the Taunus was stopped and replaced by Ford Sierra.
