FM-2030, born F M Esfandiary (1930-2000)
A transhumanist philosopher and futurist who professed 'a deep nostalgia for the future', he was the author of one of the seminal works in the transhumanist canon, Are You a Transhuman? (ISBN 0446388068).
He also wrote a number of works of fiction under his original name F M Esfandiary. These include:
- Identity Card
- The Beggar
- Sacrifice
