Flag of Aruba

The national flag of Aruba was adopted on March 18, 1976. Its design features a light blue colour as a base (symbolising the bright blue skys and waters found in Aruba), with two parallel yellow stripes in the bottom half of the flag, and a four-pointed red star (symbolising the island itself) with a white fringe in the upper left corner (hoist side).
