Fierce Creatures is John Cleese and company's 1997 follow-up to the widely popular A Fish Called Wanda. The story centers around a London zoo which has been recently acquired by Australian buisnessman Rod McCain (played by Kevin Kline) and put under the charge of Rollo Lee (played by Cleese). In order to boost profits, Rollo decides to institute a 'fierce animals' policy; only deadly creatures will be featured in the zoo. Of course, chaos ensues as the zoo keepers protest the impending loss of their loved, if not man eating, animal friends. Michael Palin gives an inspired performance as the zoo's insect keeper. Jamie Lee Curtis and Kevin Kline (in his second role of the film) offer both charismatic and hilarious supporting roles in this, while not equal to, impressive follow-up to Wanda.
