Feed horn

In satellite dish and antenna design parlance, a feed horn is a horn shaped waveguide used to convey electromagnetic signals between the transceiver and the reflector.

Feed horns flare out at the mouth and are similar in appearance to the bell of a trumpet or other musical instruments.
