Falcon Heights is a town located in Starr County, Texas. As of the 2000 census, the town had a total population of 335.

Geography Falcon Heights is located at 26°33'21" North, 99°6'41" West (26.555827, -99.111413)1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 11.4 km² (4.4 mi²). 11.4 km² (4.4 mi²) of it is land and none of the area is covered with water.

Demographics As of the census of 2000, there are 335 people, 99 households, and 81 families residing in the town. The population density is 29.5/km² (76.4/mi²). There are 152 housing units at an average density of 13.4/km² (34.7/mi²). The racial makeup of the town is 99.70% White, 0.00% African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.30% from other races, and 0.00% from two or more races. 94.93% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There are 99 households out of which 50.5% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 73.7% are married couples living together, 7.1% have a female householder with no husband present, and 17.2% are non-families. 17.2% of all households are made up of individuals and 13.1% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 3.38 and the average family size is 3.85.

In the town the population is spread out with 37.6% under the age of 18, 7.8% from 18 to 24, 26.9% from 25 to 44, 15.2% from 45 to 64, and 12.5% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 29 years. For every 100 females there are 91.4 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 88.3 males.

The median income for a household in the town is $15,000, and the median income for a family is $15,909. Males have a median income of $0 versus $0 for females. The per capita income for the town is $5,898. 52.9% of the population and 48.1% of families are below the poverty line. Out of the total people living in poverty, 66.1% are under the age of 18 and 0.0% are 65 or older.
