European School, Culham

The European School in Culham[?], Oxfordshire, is one of 9 European schools[?] around Europe and the only one in Britain and currently has around 900 primary (5-12 years old) and secondary (12-18 years old) students.

The European School at Culham primarily hosts children whose parents work at nearby international scientific institutes such as the Harwell Atomic Energy Institute[?] and the Joint European Torus[?] (also in Culham).

All the European Schools offer a unique secondary qualification called the European Baccalaureate[?] which requires students to take 11 subjects, all of which are weighted equally for the final mark (given as a percentage, where 60% is a pass).
