Enhanced Small Disk Interface

Enhanced Small Disk Interface (ESDI) Compaq's hard disk controller standard which was supposed to be faster than SCSI and IDE but unfortunately never caught on. It is found in some Compaq personal computers and most MicroChannel IBM PS/2s.
