Ernst Nobs

Ernst Nobs (July 14, 1886 - March 15, 1957), Swiss politician.

He was elected to the Federal Council of Switzerland on December 15, 1943 and handed over office on December 31, 1951. He was affiliated to the Social Democratic Party of Switzerland. During his office time he held the Departement of Finance (Switzerland)[?].

He was president of Switzerland in 1949.
