Erechtheus

There were three people in Greek mythology with the name Erechtheus.

  1. In Greek mythology, another name for Erichthonius. This person was known as King Erectheus the First of Athens and killed Himmarados.
  2. The mythical ancestor of the Achaeans, and grandfather of Acgaeus. His daughter was Creusa.
  3. King Erechtheus the Second of Athens, son of Pandion and Zeuxippe.
