Epimenides

In Greek mythology, Epimenides was a priest of Apollo who fell asleep in a cave on Crete for fifty-seven years and awoke with the gift of prophecy. Epimenedes, who was himself a Cretan, is known for the Epimenides paradox: "All Cretans are liars".
