Epeius

In Greek mythology, Epeius referred to two different people.

  1. One was a Greek soldier during the Trojan War. He built the Trojan Horse. He also founded Pisa and Metapontum[?]. (Virgil II, 264)
  2. Son of King Endymion of Elis. He challenged his brothers to a race and beat them, winning his father's kingdom.
