Elvington, City of York

Elvington is a village in the unitary authority of City of York, south west of York, Yorkshire, east of Bishopthorpe and on the banks of the River Derwent, Yorkshire.

It is mentioned in the Domesday Book and has the Elizabethan Elvington Hall[?]. It was made a Conservation Area in 1990.

The Yorkshire Air Museum[?] is nearby.
