Elendor

Elendor is a MUSH site based on J. R. R. Tolkien's writing, especially the Lord of the Rings trilogy. Users create characters according to the theme in various cultures and various species. The purpose is to create an environment as close as possible to the Middle-earth created by Tolkien.

Established October, 1991, Elendor is the oldest and most popular Tolkien-based MUSH on the internet. As of June, 2003, the numbers of registered user is over 2,500.
