Eeklo

Eeklo is a municipality located in the Belgian province of East Flanders. The municipality only comprises the city of Eeklo proper. On January 1st, 2000 Eeklo had a total population of 19,069 (9,316 males and 9,753 females). The total area is 30.44 km² which gives a population density of 626.45 inhabitants per km².
