Edward Burne-Jones

Edward Coley Burne-Jones (1833-1898), British artist, was born in Birmingham and studied theology at Oxford (Exeter College), where he became a friend of William Morris. Burne-Jones studied under Rossetti, but developed his own style influenced by his travels in Italy.
