There are 356 housing units at an average density of 490.9/km² (1,279.1/mi²). The racial makeup of the city is 73.81% White, 18.81% African American, 0.48% Native American, 1.19% Asian, 0.60% Pacific Islander, 2.62% from other races, and 2.50% from two or more races. 5.60% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There are 330 households out of which 35.2% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 42.1% are married couples living together, 19.1% have a female householder with no husband present, and 35.8% are non-families. 28.8% of all households are made up of individuals and 9.1% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older.
