Dwarves (band)

Punk rock band, formed in San Francisco Bay area in the late eighties, with singer Blag Dahlia (Blag Peter), and He Who Cannot Be Named as the guitarist.

They are known for their simple loud, yet nuanced punk repertoire, and controversial lyrics. Their album covers were the visual appeal and were unusually odd - naked women, and a naked dwarf covered in blood, for their 1990 album Blood guts and Pussy - followed up a decade later, with a similar theme, this time covered in soap suds, for Come Clean
