Dragon Quest

Dragon Quest is a series of games created by Enix[?]. It is the nemesis of Final Fantasy. The series is very popular in Japan. It became so popular that the Diet passed bill outlawing the release of Dragon Quest games on days other than a Sunday or a holiday. The fourth, fifth, and sixth installments were released in Japan on holidays. Enix itself merged with Squaresoft in 2002 to cut competition. Dragon Quest is called Dragon Warrior in North America.
