Dr. Phil
Dr. Phil McGraw gained notireity in no small part due to appearances on The Oprah Winfrey Show.
In 2003, he branched out to form his own syndicated daily TV show (http://www.paramount.com/television/dr-phil/). The format is an advice show, where he tackles a different topic on each show, offering advice for the forlorn. Some have likened him to a male Dr. Laura[?].
Dr. Phil is noted for his southern drawl as well as advice disguised as outbursts, which are generally negative, e.g., "You are an idiot."
