• DNR is a common abbreviation, standing for "do not resuscitate".

The abbreviation DNR can also refer to a government's Department of Natural Resources, an entity charged with managing wildlife, mineral, and other natural resources for that government. The governments of many of the states of the United States of America and many of the provinces of Canada have such a department.
