Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency is a novel by Douglas Adams, as well as the name of the detective agency featured in the Dirk Gently series. The main character of the story is Dirk Gently, a private detective[?] with unusual methods. It includes the unfinished portion of Coleridge's Kubla Khan.
