Diksmuide

Diksmuide is a municipality located in the Belgian province of West Flanders. The municipality comprises the city of Diksmuide proper and the towns of Beerst[?], Esen[?], Kaaskerke[?], Keiem[?], Lampernisse[?], Leke[?], Nieuwkapelle[?], Oostkerke[?], Oudekapelle[?], Pervijze[?], Sint-Jacobs-Kapelle[?], Stuivekenskerke[?], Vladslo[?] and Woumen[?]. On January 1st, 2000 Diksmuide had a total population of 15,443 (7,697 males and 7,746 females). The total area is 151.41 km² which gives a population density of 101.99 inhabitants per km².
