Digital projection systems project a digital video or digital film image for viewing on a screen.

Digital projection technologies:

high intensity CRT
LCD light gates
Texas Instruments' DLP[?] technology

Obsolete electronic projection technologies:

Eidophor[?] oil-film projectors

The current dominant technology for digital projectors is Texas Instruments' DLP technology.
