Dennis is a town located in Delaware County, Oklahoma. As of the 2000 census, the town had a total population of 185.

Geography Dennis is located at 36°32'36" North, 94°51'29" West (36.543347, -94.858091)1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 11.7 km² (4.5 mi²). 11.7 km² (4.5 mi²) of it is land and none of the area is covered with water.

Demographics As of the census of 2000, there are 185 people, 77 households, and 64 families residing in the town. The population density is 15.8/km² (40.9/mi²). There are 217 housing units at an average density of 18.5/km² (48.0/mi²). The racial makeup of the town is 87.03% White, 0.00% African American, 7.57% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 5.41% from two or more races. 0.54% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There are 77 households out of which 28.6% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 79.2% are married couples living together, 2.6% have a female householder with no husband present, and 15.6% are non-families. 13.0% of all households are made up of individuals and 6.5% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.40 and the average family size is 2.63.

In the town the population is spread out with 21.6% under the age of 18, 3.2% from 18 to 24, 20.5% from 25 to 44, 33.0% from 45 to 64, and 21.6% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 49 years. For every 100 females there are 98.9 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 104.2 males.
