Demographic crisis of Russia

In the first decade of our millennium, Russia's gravest problem is not Islamic secessionists or ideological disputes in the superstructure, but devastating demographic crisis which is reducing its citizens' average age by 10 years compared to 1992 and contracting the nation's population by an annual rate of 0.7%.
